Happy Holidays everyone! As much as I love pretty things and expensive gives I love nothing more than the gift of being around my friends and family. Now go eat lots of food and celebrate the birth of Jesus or just celebrate the commercialization of this wonderful day! Whatever you do just make sure you're around people you love....or kinda like....or people you're just able to tolerate.

Now I'm all the Wiser

Today marked the last day of class for the semester! Finals are done and over the next month and a half, all that wonderful and expensive information will slowly leak out of my brain until the start of the next semester. Here are some owlies because they are known to be oh so wise.

Also if anyone knows of a good scanner I should invest in do tell! My scanner is so finicky and it likes to take liberties in color alteration which makes it annoying and difficult to adjust colors in Photoshop.

Puppy Profile Portrait Presents for People

Belt your pants, pull up your socks, and get ready 'cause the holiday rush is on! Run to the AMPM to get all your presents before its too late cause there are very few shopping days left. These two weeks have been so busy with holiday parties, shopping and present making, we haven't even decorated the gnome house for Christmas yet. However I was busy with good quality activities, such as these little portraits for my good friend Marlene. I didn't want to post them too early or I may have ruined the surprise, that's with the assumption she checks up on my doodles and notes. Well meanypizzles good luck with the next two busy weeks ahead!

After weeks of laboring over ears, eyes, tennis shoes and hair cow licks, hes done! Harvey is carved, baked, sprayed and mounted on a little wood block. This was my first time maquette'ing and possibly my last! Though it took forever, it was exciting to see my turn around finished and right in front of me. Last night was spent checking the stove every 5 seconds while he baked. I was pre-warned that there's a possibility his giant head may explode. With my luck, that warning could have easily become a reality so I wasn't so keen on taking chances.
