Mid Pointy Goodness

Here are some boards for my upcoming midpoint. I'll post the rest later and include the final outcome of it all. This is the reason why I've been so absent physically and mentally lately. But it all comes to a crashing halt NEXT Thursday. *shudder

Paper Walle'o

NO, its not digital, YES, it is art, NO it is not done by me. My good buddy Hoang made this paper Wall'E for me, for my birthday. Nick and I were amazed by the construction, but scared to pick up the little guy, incase our grubby monster hands accidentally smashed him to pieces. So now Wall'e resides high above us on our bookshelves (away from my reach), watching us make a mess of the house, just buying his time till he can mash up our belongings into cubes of garbage. If you can't tell, Walle is entirely made of paper, he even comes with a lunch box and Rubiks cube!!! All paper! Needless to say this little guy is awesome. Thanks Hoang! Visit Hoang's blog to see how he made this masterpiece! He has alot of cool pictures showing the construction.

Spec-Tater
Spec-Tater. Get it? A Tater Tot wearing specs. *Badump Chhhh....He also looks like he could be some sort of egotistical cop. In fact, we could go so far as to call him a.... Private INSPECT-Tater? Haha..no? ok.

The Hippest lil' Hipster
It's been a while since I've had to be in the city. I miss class, Powell Street and even all those little hipster kids that make me feel fat in my jeans.

Take a Closer Look
So far this summer hasn't really been as relaxing as I had initially hoped. It seems to be littered with little chores, to do lists, and obstacles versus beach fun, ice cream and other summerish things. But I'm trying to stay calm and see the bigger picture for all this work I gotta do. I know this is a very introspective post. Have a good day!

The Amazingly Disgusting Sea Monkeys Show
If you and I have discussed TV shows within the past year than you'd have heard me talk about the live action sea monkey show that aired in the mid 90's. However more than likely you didn't know what I was talking about and than would have claimed I made the entire show up. Finally after months of trying to find an image to prove my sanity, I HAVE FOUND IT!
These three disgusting beings single handedly ruined Hot Pockets for me. My memory of these three beasts include Saturday cartoons, a Turkey Broccoli Hot Pocket and upchucking. After the first couple cheesey bites of the said Hot Pocket, these three beasts appeared on the screen and trigger my gag reflexes. Ugh looking at them still makes my skin crawl! So concludes the great Sea Monkey Hot Pocket episode of 1992.

Daily Digitals Cuties!

In attempts to not squander my summer productivity away I've decided to try and post one quick digital painting every night. The key word is "TRY." Since Nick got me the latest copy of Corel Painter 11 for me birthday's I figured its about damn time I take a stab at it.
This is Daisy, one of my four legged coworkers. She gets into your personal space, farts in it than walks away. With all those things considered, she's still one of my favorite colleagues at work. Go figure.
