Screenings Galore!

One of the many perks of being a Nickelodeon Intern (aside from all you can drink fountain soda and daily fresh pastries) is all the fun screenings we get to participate in! Let me give you an example! Being part of the SpongeBob crew we get to sit in the weekly screenings, basically watching the hilarity of SpongeBob and Patrick ensue one week before. Also as interns we get to see movies at the Paramount theater before they come out, also good! Today we screened Avatar Spirit, which is a documentary about the two creators of the show. Though I haven't seen too much of the show it was a really awesome view into the highs and lows of creating a show and pitching it to a giant network like Nickelodeon. So I'm pretty sure after this summer I'll be ready to pitch a huge hit show, no problems...

It's Official!

Hola meanies! As of last Friday I was instated as a Nickelodeon Summer Intern! I have a new orange mug, rubber keychain, official Nickelodeon Nalgene Bottle and new intern packet, therefore it is official. As much as I miss my people in NorCal this should prove to be a superb summer. Check back for more updates about my experience as an intern as well as gossip updates about SpongeBob and his gang!
