I'm on the Interwebs Ya'll!!!

Hey goons! This has been a busy, bizzay week. But a fun one at that. Nick and I packed up the car and headed south to experience the nerd promiseland that is COMIC-CON!!! Nickelodeon internship and classes have been a blast and summer is quickly whizzing by. Whilst this week may be on its way out, I did manage to find some time last week to get together an interviewed for the Gama-Go Blog! Up top is a failed attempt at being charming while Nick tried to get a decent photo of me...

So if you'd like to take a journey through my ear canal, past the gunk that keeps me from being a good listener and through the caverns where my squishy pink brain is housed...well, dont be shy...COME ON IN! *Squish Squish Squish*

Character Designin'

When the Nickterns aren't shuffling papers and doing "internish" duties, we fill our spare time with free movies, eating food we find around the office and taking classes. One of these classes is a character design class with Joel Fajnor who is a character designin' machine. Here are the fruits of my labor thus far. This is wolfie, he likes candy and baby meat.

Making Friends With All Sorts'a folks!

Greetings from Los Angeles! It's 3am and I'm too excited to go to sleep (or maybe it was that second cup of coffee around 11pm?). Regardless I'm flying back to SF tomorrow morning (in approx. 6 hours) and I can't be more psyched! Things at the ol' Nickelodeon Cartoon Factory are A-O-K! I'm learning so much about the production pipeline for 2D animation as well as meeting some extremely fascinating people! People such as SPONGEBOB!
Here we are just shooting the breeze together, he had the greatest story about him and Patrick. Remind me to tell you next time I see you.

Aside from working it out at Nickelodeon, I'm lucky enough to be able to keep on keepin' on with my friends at Gama-Go back in SF. One of the last things I did before I moved at the beginning of Summer was put together the store front window display. Here it is if you haven't gotten a chance to visit the SOMA store. OR you can come on down to 8th and Folsom St. and take a look at the display for reals with your pretty lil' eyes. It's coming down soon to make room for the next display done by another Gama-Go artist! So come visit! Because aside from quirky things inside the store there are really interesting things to see outside on the street as well...I'll just leave it at that.
On another Gama-Note there are some new products rolling out soon that I had the privilege of working on with the art crew. Check back for some updates! Here I come NorCal! WOOOT!
