These pages are a prop design for a book meant to educate newly hired Death Merchants on the job's day to day duties. Children have a right to be informed about non conventional careers.

Big Book O' Death

I'm diligently working...on not failing school in my last semester. And when I have time, I'm working on my thesis. Above is the Big Black Book of Death from the book A Dirty Job. Well this is at least my take on it. These aren't completely finished, they need to go through some Photoshopping to get some textures and details before they can consider themselves proper. I wanted the book to look like a darker version of a Little Golden Book and the art itself is inspired by of course the ever talented Mary Blair's, "I Can Fly". However per a friends suggestion this book of death may be titled "I Can Kill" or my personal choice of "You Can Die." Me, dark & morbid? NO! *Shoots you with death ray gun.

Vroom

A lil' bit of rough prop design for your peepers. This is a main characters car design. He's a pretty average, nerdy, beta male type and OH yes hes also Death. I wanted to play up the nerdiness as well as skull shapes in the car. Not to say if you drove a 1994 Fiat Fiorino you are nerdy or anything...
